ANNOUNCEMENTS & FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
OCTOBER NEWSLETTER is available on the table in front of the office.
PIZZA & MOVIE NIGHT is next Saturday, October 13th. We will be showing the movie
“FLYWHEEL”. Sign-up sheet is on the welcome center.
GRIEFSHARE will be hosting 2 different Support Group opportunities. GriefShare seminars
and support groups are meant to help you recover from your loss and look forward to
rebuilding your life. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
“Loss of a Spouse” will be October 16th from 4:30-6:30pm, this is a one -time session.
“GriefShare” We will be starting our 13 week group session October 23rd at 4:30.
ST. MICHAELS HARVEST FAIR is Friday, October 12th 5:00-8:00pm & Saturday, October 13th
9:00am-3:00pm. They will have crafters, vendors, a bake sale & the Harvest Café.
SOUP-ER SATURDAY will be Saturday, October 20th, it is quickly approaching. We have
sign-up sheets on the welcome center for those of you interested in making soups for the
event. We will have time available in the kitchen on Friday and early Saturday morning.
We are looking for donations for raffle baskets. If you have a basket you’d like to put
together or just items to donate please contact Laurie Passineau or Ronna in the office.
WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY is today. Your generous gifts to World Communion
Sunday funds graduate racial-ethnic World Communion Scholarships, with at least onehalf
of the annual amount reserved for ministries beyond the United States. Donations
also provide for undergraduate U.S. Ethnic Scholarship and Ethnic In-Service Training.
